Thank You

WAEYC offered the Keys to Success subsidy training through a contract with the State; that contract ended June 30, 2009. Click here for WAEYC’s report on the effectiveness of the training. The Washington State Child Care Resource & Referral Network announced in September that they anticipate signing a contract in October 2009 to develop and deliver mandatory subsidy training to licensed family child care, license-exempt and seasonal providers who receive payments from the state to provide child care for low-income children. Click here to read the announcement, as well as answers to some common questions about the training.

We enjoyed getting to know you and appreciated the opportunity to serve you. As you continue to grow and learn, we look forward to working with you in other ways in the future. WAEYC provides training, resources and information to our members and to others working with young children. To learn more about WAEYC, or to join, go to www.waeyc.org.

All licensed family home providers and in-home/ relative providers (exempt) are required to take subsidy billing training at least once between July 1, 2009 and June 30, 2011 in order to remain eligible to receive state subsidies. If you completed the training with WAEYC within the last year, you are still required to take the training by June 30, 2011.
