WAEYC Governing Board

Meeting Calendar

The following candidates were elected by WAEYC members to serve 2010-2012:

Karen Cooper, Vice President
Jamie Ashton, National Affiliate Council Representative

Tina Smith-Klahn was elected by the Affiliate Council to serve as their Chair 2010-2011. WAEYC members also approved the amended and restated bylaws.

COMMITTEES

The governing board established the following standing committees to carry out important work of the association:

Advancement with Communications (Chair Tina Smith-Klahn), Fund Development (Chair Kelvin Ceasar), and Governance (Chair Leslie Meisner) subcommittees
Finance (Chair Brian Kenneweg)
Program with Professionals (Chair Gene Gousie) and Organizations (Chair John Naegele) subcommittees
Public Policy (Chair Karen Tvedt)

Each committee has a three-year plan and the following documents to guide its work.
