Positions Available

Infant Teacher-  

We are seeking experienced candidates for the position of Infant Classroom Teacher.  Individualized, respectful care is a core component of our infant program.  Classroom ratios of 1:3  are maintained for groups of children 1.5 – 12 months of age.  Successful candidates will be accomplished at designing curriculum which is culturally sensitive, developmentally appropriate, tailored for the unique needs of each child, and is aligned with Washington State ’s Early Learning Benchmarks.

 

Infant/Toddler Team Leader-   

This position is an ideal opportunity for caregivers with a sound understanding of child development, particularly for newborns through 36 months, a passion for partnering with classroom teachers, strong leadership skills, management experience, and excellent communication skills.  The Infant Team Leader is a member of the administrative team at Hutch Kids Child Care Center and supervises a team of approximately 15 staff members.   The Team Leader provides training for parents and staff, is supported by the center director and program coordinator, and divides his or her time between classroom support and administrative duties.  Candidates must have an ECE degree with experience in a child care center.

Child & Family Ministry Coordinator

The Children and Family Ministries Coordinator is a part-time position.  This person coordinates developmentally appropriate Christian education ministries for children and youth of the congregation as well as ministries and programs for families and parents with young children.  More specifically, this person is responsible for directing the Sunday School program (for infants through high school-age youth) and summer Vacation Bible School and for providing new and nurturing Christ-centered programs for families with children, collaborating with other church staff and working with volunteers.

 

Compensation  

$18,000/year for 25 hours/week
