STARS Registry / Registro de STARS

Effective April 1, 2010, the Department of Early Learning (DEL) took the Registry offline. DEL determined it was best to take the current system offline while they design a new, more robust online Registry that is interactive and user-friendly. To request historical data from the database, email your first and last name and date of birth to stars@del.wa.gov or call (866) 482-4325 x8. El 1 de abril del 2010, el Departamento de Aprendizaje Temprano (DEL) suspender� el acceso al registro de STARS. DEL ha decidido que es preferible suspender el acceso al registro de STARS mientras se dise�a un nuevo registro que ser� mucho mejor, m�s interactivo y f�cil de usar. Para solicitar informaci�n de su historia en el registro, por favor env�e su nombre, apellido y la fecha de su nacimiento a stars@del.wa.gov o llame al (866) 482-4325 x8 a partir del 1ro de abril. STARS Scholarships / Los reembolsos de STARS

WAEYC continues to administer STARS scholarships for the Department of Early Learning (DEL). If you are required to take STARS training and need financial assistance, submit a Reimbursement Application to WAEYC. Reimbursements are available on a first-come first-served basis as long as funding is available.

WAEYC continua administrando los reembolsos de STARS para el Departamento de Aprendizaje Temprano (DEL). Si tiene que tomar las clases de STARS y necesita ayuda financiera, por favor haga clic aqu� para bajar una aplicaci�n para reembolso. Los reembolsos son entregados de acuerdo a la fecha en que las aplicaciones son recibidas, siempre y cuando haya fondos disponibles.

Conference Support

The Conference Support and Scholarship Program, sponsored by the Department of Early Learning, supports the professional development of child care providers by supporting the conferences they attend. STARS approved training organizations providing conferences may apply for support and scholarship funds. Funds are promised on a first-come, first-served basis until the available funds are distributed on a reimbursement basis. Click for the guidelines and the application.

Trainers and Training Organizations

Currently approved trainers and training organizations can continue to offer training. DEL is not accepting applications for new trainers or training organizations, and there will be no renewal process for those currently approved. Trainers and training organizations should continue to keep a record of the providers who complete each training. They should also give each provider a certificate of completion and a receipt.
