Professional Development

WAEYC works to provide professional development opportunities for those working with and on behalf of children ages birth to 8 in Washington State. WAEYC is dedicated to providing quality professional development opportunities that are affordable.

Workshops and seminars are offered on a variety of topics throughout the year at different locations. STARS credit and clock hours are available at most WAEYC trainings, and college credit is available at the WAEYC Annual Conference.

As a member benefit, WAEYC members may attend trainings and conferences at a reduced rate.

Western States Leadership Network (WSLN)

WSLN brings together AEYC leaders of the 13 Western states to share information, resources and leadership techniques.

Pierce County AEYC will host WSLN at the University of Puget Sound July 17-21, 2012.

APS Training Center
Focuses on developing and delivering training programs needed to better understand and navigate the NAEYC Accreditation process.  Available at NAEYC's national and affiliate conferences, headquarters, and through online presentations and webinars.  To learn more, click here.

 

Scholarships
